Heed and Diligence

“In Susan Stryker’s (transgender male to female) best-known essay, “My Words to Victor Frankenstein above the Village of Chamounix: Performing Transgender Rage,” he contends that the “transsexual body” is a “technological construction” that represents a war against Western society. “I am a transsexual, and therefore I am a monster,” Stryker writes. And this monster, he continues, is destined to channel its “rage and revenge” against the “naturalized heterosexual order”; against ‘traditional family values”; and against the “hegemonic oppression” of nature itself.” (Cristopher Rufo, Americas Cultural revolution)

This is an attempt to disrupt the natural order of things and bend it to a new false construct while claiming that the natural way is a construct in itself. 

The originators of this idea contended that heteronormativity needed to be ruthlessly deconstructed through promotion of transgenderism and political philosophy.

Another founder of the new religion of transgrendersims Rosa Lee wrote “Marxists spoke of the construction of a “new socialist man” as a crucial task in the broader process of socialist construction. Today, in a time of both rising fascism and an emergent socialist movement, our challenge is transsexualising our Marxism. We should think [of] the project of transition to communism in our time-communisation-as including the transition to new communist selves, new ways of being and relating to one another.” 

In this they destroy and pervert the right way of the Lord. It denies the natural order defined by God in the creation.

It is worship of the Egyptian Goddess Ishtar, Isis or Inanna. A multifaceted goddess, she takes three paramount forms. She is the goddess of love and sexuality, and thus, fertility; she is responsible for all life, but she is never a mother goddess. As the goddess of war, she is often shown winged and bearing arms. Her third aspect is celestial; she is the planet Venus, the morning and evening star. She is also represented sometimes with a beard to demonstrate her gender-fluidity and ability to be whatever she or others want. She exacts a price, and that price is the price of the blood of three-month-old infants, (daughters of captured women raped on an altar and sometimes volunteers of the true believers) a year from the date of sacrifice. (This holiday is called Easter btw) occasionally volunteers would provide their own children. Age is of no issue to these people as a sacrifice can be made at any time or age. (For a better rundown of what these ancient mystery schools taught, a friend of mine has posted all about that here.)

She represents sex and violence which are emblematic of giving in to the carnal urges over the divine connection. Adultery and murder often go hand in hand and war follows. She is represented in the various forms as Venus and the moon to supplant and replace the real divine Mother and Son. The creator and redeemer of the world. 

This worship and sacrifice of one’s self to the Goddess is an attempt to soothe and give into whatever sexual fantasy and urge one has to disrupt the natural order so they can author their own version of a society and therefore set up THE ultimate societal construct devoid of order and true affection. After initially setting up the Egyptian imitation of the Holy Order it’s evolved into a catastrophe cesspool of sin and rejection of the True God. In Egypt since the fall into apostasy it was always about temporal technological and scientific usurpation of the natural law that God set forth in the beginning that set forth the bounds and limits of this creation. Look to Moses true and real snake or look to that of the priests of Elkanah. Participate in true joy by adhering to the full measure of your creation or throw it away as a thing of naught for personal gain and temporary satisfaction whilst twisting your natural use.

Our society has unknowingly become complicit in the worship of devils and false Gods that would demand a horrible price. As governments are paying for and mandating transgender studies, child indoctrination and hiding the very medical procedures used to accomplish a physical transition attempt from parents. This has become ultra pervasive and affects all of us. Every one of us has been co-opted into this dark and diabolical practice. I can only hope that we would stand for righteous and true principles and root out these secret works so as to not allow them to overpower us. 

Satan always sets up proxies in the place of truth. He always gives a counterfeit substitute with the allure of power, glory, fame and money. He always presents it as a way to satisfy carnal desires. We the people have waxed iniquitous in maximum idolatry. 

The doctrine of Nehor in opposition to what the true prophets have said is the prevailing mantra of most of the religious world today. Consider what Nephi, Jesus, Isaiah and other prophets have to say.

Nephi records “Enter ye in at the strait gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there be who go in thereat; because strait is the gate and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” (3 Nephi 6:9RE)

Jesus is recorded in his visit to the Nephites. “And it came to pass that when Jesus had ended these sayings, he saith unto his disciples, Enter ye in at the strait gate, for strait is the gate and narrow is the way that leads to life, and few there be that find it; but wide is the gate and broad the way which leads to death, and many there be who travel therein until the night cometh, wherein no man can work.” (3 Nephi 13:2RE)

Nephi repeats Isaiah’s prophecy of the last days.

They wear stiff necks and high heads, yea, and because of pride, and wickedness, and abominations, and whoredoms, they have all gone astray, save it be a few who are the humble followers of Christ.” (2 Nephi 12:2RE)

We read and know that throughout all time there have been very few who have been saved. There was Noah and 8 souls, Moroni alone, Mormon and his 24 and Isaiah and his few to name a few.

What the Nehors believe

Nehor went about “declaring unto the people that every priest and teacher ought to become popular and they ought not to labor with their own hands, but that they ought to be supported by the people. And he also testified unto the people that all mankind should be saved at the last day, and that they need not fear nor tremble, but that they might lift up their heads and rejoice, for the Lord had created all men and had also redeemed all men; and in the end, all men should have eternal life. And it came to pass that he did teach these things so much that many did believe on his words, even so many that they began to support him and give him money. And he began to be lifted up in the pride of his heart and to wear very costly apparel, yea, and even began to establish a church after the manner of his preaching.” (Alma 1:1RE)

These were the false doctrines espoused by Nehor:

Priests should be sustained (paid) by the membership, priests should be popular and revered, they don’t need to fear the lord and could do as they wanted, all men should be saved regardless. These last two indicate that there is no right way according to their precepts but we have read “O the wise, and the learned, and the rich, that are puffed up in the pride of their hearts, and all those who preach false doctrines, and all those who commit whoredoms and pervert the right way of the Lord, Woe, woe, woe be unto them, saith the Lord God Almighty, for they shall be thrust down to hell.” We must not pervert the right way of the lord! (2 Nephi 12:3)

Nephi said “Woe be unto him that crieth, All is well. Yea, woe be unto him that hearkeneth unto the precepts of men, and denieth the power of God and the gift of the holy ghost. Yea, woe be unto him that saith, We have received and we need no more. And in fine, woe unto all those who tremble and are angry because of the truth of God.” (2 Nephi 12:5RE)

They also “rob the poor because of their fine sanctuaries; they rob the poor because of their fine clothing” (2 Nephi 12:2RE)

Nehor and those that espouse his doctrines say all is well, they say we can do what we please and follow our own precepts, and they are angry with the truth of God insomuch that it caused Nehor to kill Gideon. And the amlicites to invite the lamanites to go to war against the nephites. 

Nehor was (lawfully) quickly put to death for killing an old war hero name Gideon but not before his teachings caught on and others decided to abide in them and even while whole peoples adopted them as in the next example with the people of Amulon and the amlicites. They said the following to Ammon and his brethren when they came to restore truth among them. 

“Thou also sayest, except we repent we shall perish. How knowest thou the thought and intent of our heart? How knowest thou that we have cause to repent? How knowest thou that we are not a righteous people? Behold, we have built sanctuaries, and we do assemble ourselves together to worship God. We do believe that God will save all men.” (Alma 13:2RE)

They were harder than the Lamanites because of their belief they were spiritually superior because of their religion they even named their city Jerusalem. 

“Now the Lamanites, and the Amlicites, and the people of Amulon had built a great city which was called Jerusalem. Now the Lamanites, of themselves, were sufficiently hardened; but the Amlicites and the Amulonites were still harder. Therefore, they did cause the Lamanites that they should harden their hearts, that they should wax stronger in wickedness and their abominations.” (Alma 13:1 RE)

What is a Nehor? A Nehor is someone from any dispensation of gospel truth who claims to have truth but perverts it to satisfy their own wants and demands to soothe their itching ears and conform the word of the lord to themselves. 

Mankind through out time since adam; has always used religion, even in the dispensations with priesthood and true messengers who have walked and talked face to face with the lord, to co-opt institutions and teach for commandments the philosophies of men and to use great swelling words to attract great numbers of people to their cause so that they can be supported and sustained by the tithes of the people. This too is an extension of the order of Nehors in that “men preach and set themselves up for a light unto the world, that they may get gain and praise of the world, but they seek not the welfare of Zion. Behold, the Lord hath forbidden this thing; wherefore, the Lord God hath given a commandment that all men should have charity, which charity is love. And except they should have charity, they were nothing; wherefore, if they should have charity, they would not suffer the laborer in Zion to perish. But the laborer in Zion shall labor for Zion, for if they labor for money, they shall perish” (2 Nephi 11:17RE) Nephi calls this priestcraft. 

They deceive themselves in that they think they are doing something good because they can soothe something that pulls at their heart strings. They believe themselves righteous for pursuing a cause because of wind of doctrine or science of man but they refuse to accept sound doctrine and are men of weak mind. (Moroni has something to say about that but I’ll not get into that here.)

Those that lived in the time of Noah and Adam had nearly all gone astray. This is the nature of all dispensations and all institutions. We cannot expect an institution to save wherein false doctrines are preached. Nehor advocated for this as well as the Jews and those descendants in the time of Adam and Enoch who rebelled against those teachings.

The Jews were the high priests of God and in their arrogance destroyed their God because well… they were the high priests and what they said was the law. 

In both cases they were, in their estimation saved peoples and that because they belonged to the group and had the priesthood they didn’t need more instruction. 

Salvation comes because of faith and that because of a correct idea of God 

“Let us here observe that three things are necessary in order that any rational and intelligent being may exercise faith in God unto life and salvation.

First, the idea that he actually exists.

Secondly, a correct idea of his character, perfections, and attributes.

Thirdly, an actual knowledge that the course of life which he is pursuing is according to his will. For without an acquaintance with these three important facts, the faith of every rational being must be imperfect and unproductive, but with this understanding it can become perfect and fruitful, abounding in righteousness unto the praise and glory of God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Lectures on Faith lecture third 2-5)

Not many men have an idea of Christs character, perfections and attributes, an idea that he actually exists and thirdly, even fewer know that the their course of life is actually in accordance with his will. Why? One because they do not keep the commandments or adhere to prophecy that has been given. And two, because they do not consult him and many who do, do not get answers. True modern prophecy always agrees with prior prophecy. It explains develops, reinforces and brings to light additional meaning and detail. It never countermands, reduces or disregards what has been given in previous dispensation. When this happens you end up with false priests such as Nehor. 

The lives of previous prophets when understood correctly, show us how to ascend for ourselves and obtain salvation for this life is when it is obtained. They teach us how to ask and get answers from God and set our lives on a true course of righteousness. 

Many mention that God intended to save all men. It is true that the atonement is a free gift, but the scriptures clearly teach that few there be that find salvation. It is obtained through repentance and obedience to God. You had also mentioned that you thought scriptures were written by men. 

These men had an accurate idea of the fore mentioned qualities and had made the ascent of the fiery ladder in this life and all met God face to face. 

These men wrote scripture but did so at the express request of God himself as true messengers of the the lord. Anyone else who assumes to write scripture without a message commissioned of the Lord himself is an imposter as Joseph Smith has proclaimed. He said: “They are high and lifted up, and would trample upon the humble, and the meek, and the unassuming, and are not afraid to teach for the commandment of God, their own corrupt, and devilish doctrines, and principles; let no man therefore, be deceived by them, let no man harbor them, nor bid them God speed; don’t be partakers of their evil deeds. If any man writes to you, or preaches to you, doctrines contrary to the Bible, the Book of Mormon, or the book of Doctrine and Covenants, set him down as an imposter, -Try them by the principles contained in the acknowledged word of God; if they preach, or teach, or practice contrary to that, disfellowship them; cut them off from among you as useless and dangerous branches” (times and seasons)

The word of God from his mouth to His messengers to paper or gold and brass plates counsels us to put down any doctrines contrary to what is written and put them down as imposters. Even those modern day Nehors who claim that they are righteous because they meet, build edifices unto their God and preach that God has done his work (completed the atonement or given authority) and has saved all men. 

We must avoid men who arrogantly claim that what they say is scripture and who teach without being sent. 

We must avoid the broad paths that so many go down and come unto Jesus that He may be permitted to save us. 

In fine, we may hope and wish for things to be true but that doesn’t make them true or right. We must adhere to the word of God and walk in the right way to see salvation. Anything else is an invention of man whereby it becomes a law unto itself. Customs of man will never be approved by God but repentance and conformity to Gods law and His right way brings joy and eternal lives.

Jeremiah prophesied of the day that the churches and their leaders would reject truth and spread lies.

Jeremiah 14:14 “Then the Lord said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.”

Those who claim to possess truth reject it. Why? Because they seek honor, glory and riches.

They have done as the Sanhedrin in Christs day and buried the truth for fear of some disturbance in the institutional order. It is written in the acts of Pontius Pilate that after the crucifixion and resurrection, Pilate entered the temple and demanded to see the great book and in speaking with the four ministers of the temple, they had assembled a large gathering of high priests and confirmed that this was indeed Jesus. “After we had crucified Jesus, not knowing that he was the Son of God, but supposing he wrought his miracles by some magical arts, we summoned a large assembly in this temple. And when we were deliberating among one another about the miracles which Jesus had wrought, we found many witnesses of our own country, who declared that they had seen him alive after his death, and that they heard him discoursing with his disciples, and saw him ascending unto the height of the heavens, and entering into them; And we saw two witnesses, whose bodies Jesus raised from the dead, who told us of many strange things which Jesus did among the dead, of which we have a written account in our hands.” ” And so, it appears, that Jesus whom we crucified, is Jesus Christ the Son of God, and true and Almighty God. Amen.” (Acts of Pilate 22:7-9, 20)

What came of it? Nothing for they concealed it from the people. They knew and never confessed it to the public or taught it plainly to the people. They never proclaimed it abroad. “Hitherto we have told no man lest their be a schism in our synagogues” Acts of Pilate 28.

They wanted power, money and position more than they wanted the truth of God.  They had known they killed their prophesied Messiah and still hid it from the public and loved the institution and their role in it more than God.

“Because their hearts are set so much upon the things of this world, and aspire to the honors of men, that they do not learn this one lesson— That the rights of the priesthood are inseparably connected with the powers of heaven, and that the powers of heaven cannot be controlled nor handled only upon the principles of righteousness.” D&C 121:35-36

See the problem with the current church is that history repeats itself over and over. It becomes subject to the same failings as all prior dispensations. Worldly and spiritually deadly to the masses.

It is as a shadow of Egypt. They strengthen themselves in the strength of a leader. One who appoints and declares themselves that great substitute for God and exalts himself. (He who exalts himself shall be abased and he who humbled himself shall be exalted) this thing Isaiah states will be their shame.

Isaiah 30:1-3 “Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: That walk to go down into Egypt and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt! Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.”

We have been taught to go to the Lord in all things and not to seek after or put our trust in the arm of the flesh. Throughout time, the children of the covenant have become rebellious and sought after and trusted in counterfeit intuitions that have a similitude to the truth but who are far from it. These institutions are churches that co-opt and usurp power in the name of the Lord but only to their detriment.

Churches come and go. The Lord never promised that the church would continue on the earth till the lord came but that the priesthood would endure. D&C 13 “Upon you my fellow servants, in the name of Messiah I confer the Priesthood of Aaron, which holds the keys of the ministering of angels, and of the gospel of repentance, and of baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; and this shall never be taken again from the earth, until the sons of Levi do offer again an offering unto the Lord in righteousness.” The very word associating church with an institution is a modern religious lexicon. That is a discussion for another day.

The so-called institution the Lord started with Adam died in the flood. The temples Seth built were never repurposed for righteous means after the flood. They became used for Egyptian rights and counterfeit earthly glory.

The rites, law, ordinances and practice the Lord approved through Moses had already turned on its head at the birth of John and Christ. That very same “institution” is the one who condemned the Savior of the world to death. As mentioned before, they knew who he was but hid it from the people because of their own pride and vain ambition. 

What Jeremiah is talking about is more important than most realize because it is contemporary to us. He is talking about churches that presume to have the Priesthood and a lineage back to someone who has actually been sent of the Lord with a message.

There is no question among believers and those who recognize the voice of Christ that Joseph Smith too was a restorer of truth. There is a question as to whether his and Hyrum’s death led to the cessation of the patriarchal priesthood being exercised on the earth. I am of the belief that a truthful modern history confirms that as such. (Hyrum dying first) Men have perverted what they taught and usurped the organization and practice approved of by the Lord under Joseph’s Dispensation and have persecuted the meek in heart and have; in both doctrine and practice, gone astray. Since the 1840’s we have an organization that has slipped into apostasy whose precipitous decline has only rapidly increased as they seek the Babylonian way.

Out of these ashes truth will prevail as along as we are looking to the Lord for revelation and await true messengers that he sends from time to time.

Today is the day when work can be doneAlma 34:32-33 “For behold, this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God; yea, behold the day of this life is the day for men to perform their labors. And now, as I said unto you before, as ye have had so many witnesses, therefore, I beseech of you that ye do not procrastinate the day of your repentance until the end; for after this day of life, which is given us to prepare for eternity, behold, if we do not improve our time while in this life, then cometh the night of darkness wherein there can be no labor performed.”

We are all afforded the same opportunities. Matthew 5:45 “That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.”

If we seek God we seek for hope to endure all things. “We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things.” Wentworth letter 

If we shy away from conflict and hard things are we are wasting the opportunity. 

What things are we seeking for? People think that they are going to blessed and have an easier life experience by removal of trials if they are good, obey the commandments or follow certain people. That is wrong and a doctrine of the devil. A better life is obtained by embracing the struggles, leaning into and learning from them.

Blessings come from on high. Blessings are the things that flow from heaven. knowledge, ordinances and salvation. Temporal blessings come from hard work and exercise of agency. Fulfilling the laws on which those blessings are based D and C 130:20-21 “There is a law, irrevocably decreed in heaven before the foundations of this world, upon which all blessings are predicated – And when we obtain any blessing from God, it is by obedience to that law upon which it is predicated.”

We get to choose how to endure the opportunity. Is it through a cheery disposition or is it through complaining and fear?

The last post talked about things to come and hardship we will soon see the world go through. In the following I will outline what the scriptures have to say about how we can endure it.

“God is our refuge and strength, a present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear though the earth shall be removed, and though the mountains shall be carried into the midst of the sea, and the waters thereof roar, being troubled, and the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Yet there shall be a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy of the tabernacle of the Most High. For Zion shall come and God shall be in her midst; she shall not be moved. God shall help her right early. The heathen shall be enraged and their kingdoms shall be moved, and the Lord shall utter his voice, and the earth shall be melted. The Lord of Hosts, who shall be with us, the God of Jacob, our refuge. Selah. Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he shall make in the earth in the latter days. He makes wars to cease unto the end of the earth. He breaks the bow and cuts the spear asunder. He burns the chariot in the fire and says unto the nations, Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the heathen. I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of Hosts shall be with us, the God of Jacob, our refuge.” Psalms 46:1-3 RE

The preceding scripture is taken out of context by most of Christendom. It is seen as a quick place of comfort without regard for the context of why it is said. Most of scripture either prophecies of Christ and his earthly missions or prophecies of his second coming. This is a prophecy of David of his second coming and his counsel to us in the latter days. Even in his fallen state he tells us to know and understand what is happening. Especially he asks us to come to know God and receive of salvation for it is one thing to believe and it is one thing to know.

Paul saw our day and said “This know also: that in the last days, perilous times shall come; for men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, without self-control, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. From such turn away, for of this sort are they who creep into houses and lead captive silly women loaded with sins, led away with diverse lusts, ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further, for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was. But you have fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, long-suffering, charity, patience, persecutions, afflictions which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra — what persecutions I endured. But out of them all, the Lord delivered me. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution; for evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But continue in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing of whom you have learned them and that from a child you have known the holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. And all scripture given by inspiration of God is profitable — for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 2:8-9 RE

We must not be drawn in by the Babylonian creeds, the vain deceptions and the evil state of the world while living in it. We must not be of it. We have the words before us in Scripture. We have the examples of those who have gone before and seen our day.

In 1833 Joseph co-authored and approved the following letter to the saints with this prophecy. It again counsels for preparing for the day of the Lord by attaining unto their own salvation and enduring through sore trials the coming of the Lord.

“We have all been children and are too much so at the present time, but we hope in the Lord that we may grow in grace and be prepared for all things which the bosom of futurity may disclose unto us. Time is rapidly rolling on and the prophecies must be fulfilled. The days of tribulation are fast approaching, and the time to test the fidelity of the saints has come. Rumor with her ten thousand tongues is diffusing her uncertain sounds in almost every ear. But in these times of sore trial, let the saints be patient and see the salvation of God. Those who cannot endure persecution, and stand in the day of affliction, cannot stand in the day when the Son of God shall burst the veil, and appear in all the glory of his Father, with the holy angels.” T&C 102:3

We get to choose how we endure whether we suffer in misery or suffer with a glad heart and cheerful countenance. We get to decide how we feel and that comes from a knowledge of salvation and that which is to come.

I hear from my friends and close acquaintances that it is all coming to an end and that we ought to prepare to recluse from the world. I would say nay to that. We must be leaven and do our duty hearkening unto our commandments not a few so that the Lord can work with us. In a day that is gowning cold, callous and dark; a world that is ever learning but never coming to a knowledge of the truth, we must grow closer to the Lord and commune with Him so that we may prepare for His coming. Both personally and cosmically.

I’d like to address the concern that its all falling apart. Yes it is, but we know from prophecy what that will look like.

“But as it was in the days of Noah, so it shall be also at the coming of the Son of Man, for it shall be with them as it was in the days which were before the flood. For until the day that Noah entered into the ark, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, and knew not until the flood came and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.” Matthew 11:11 RE

This means that there will still be an economy. However horrible it may be the world will still go on doing its things despite its oblivious nature. There will still be work to be performed by the followers of Christ albeit it will be much harder.

Whenever the Lord has had a people on the earth; those with whom he has established a covenant, they have had to endure sore trials and many hard things. When the sons of Alma had returned with their brethren from among the Lamanites and had established a place for them in Jershon they finished the job by saying the following. “Now when our hearts were depressed and we were about to turn back, behold, the Lord comforted us”, “bear with patience thine afflictions, and I will give unto you success”, “we have been patient in our sufferings, and we have suffered every privation; yea, we have traveled from house to house, relying upon the mercies of the world — not upon the mercies of the world alone, but upon the mercies of God.” “we have been cast out, and mocked, and spit upon, and smote upon our cheeks, and we have been stoned, and taken, and bound with strong cords, and cast into prison; and through the power and wisdom of God, we have been delivered again. And we have suffered all manner of afflictions, and all this that perhaps we might be the means of saving some soul, and we supposed that our joy would be full if perhaps we could be the means of saving some.” (Alma 14:20 RE Paraphrased) Theirs was a missionary effort. Our commandments may be different but nonetheless, it has been written that we must put off the natural man and yield to the enticing’s of the spirit and become a saint through the atonement of Christ becoming meek, submissive, humble, patient, full of love and willing to submit to all things the Lord sees fit to inflict upon us. (Mosiah 1:16 RE) Doing so and losing our selves we will find our salvation. The Lord exalts those who would lower themselves and debases those who exalt themselves. Wehn, we do this the mercies of God are present, and we are sustained. We (the people reading this post this day) must pay attention and gird up our loins.

“Let your loins be girded about, and have your lights burning, that you yourselves may be like unto men who wait for their lord when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks, they may open unto him immediately. Truly I say unto you, blessed are those servants whom the lord, when he comes, shall find watching, for he shall gird himself, and make them sit down to a meal, and will come forth and serve them. For behold, he comes in the first watch of the night, and he shall also come in the second watch, and again he shall come in the third watch. And truly I say unto you, he has already come, as it is written of him. And again, when he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, blessed are those servants when he comes that he shall find so doing, for the Lord of those servants shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to a meal, and will come forth and serve them.” Luke 8:25 RE (BTW all of chapter 8 is worth a read in connection with this post)

We must repent, ponder, pray and do. Its a simple recipe and we must not put off the day of our salvation. We must work before the night comes and no more work can be done. Consider what Alma has taught in the following.

“And now behold, I say unto you, my brethren, if ye have experienced a change of heart, and if ye have felt to sing the song of redeeming love, I would ask, can ye feel so now? Have ye walked keeping yourselves blameless before God? Could ye say — if ye were called to die at this time — within yourselves that ye have been sufficiently humble, that your garments have been cleansed and made white through the blood of Christ, who will come to redeem his people from their sins? Behold, are ye stripped of pride? I say unto you, if ye are not, ye are not prepared to meet God. Behold, ye must prepare quickly; for the kingdom of Heaven is soon at hand, and such an one hath not eternal life. Behold, I say, is there one among you who is not stripped of envy? I say unto you that such an one is not prepared. And I would that he should prepare quickly, for the hour is close at hand; and he knoweth not when the time shall come, for such an one is not found guiltless.” Alma 3:5 RE

I’d like to expose some of my thoughts on disputations, what the cost of them is (which is great) and what’s at stake when we dispute. 

3 Nephi 5:8

“And there shall be no disputations among you, as there hath hitherto been, neither shall there be disputations among you concerning the points of my doctrine, as there hath hitherto been. For verily, verily I say unto you, he that hath the spirit of contention is not of me, but is of the Devil, who is the father of contention; and he stirreth up the hearts of men to contend with anger, one with another. Behold, this is not my doctrine, to stir up the hearts of men with anger, one against another, but this is my doctrine, that such things should be done away.”

3 Nephi 4:1

“there was not any man who could do a miracle in the name of Jesus save he were cleansed every whit from his iniquity “. 

How can we expect to build Zion and perform a miracle if we are not cleansed of our backbiting, contentions and false teachings?”

“And the people began to look with great earnestness for the sign which had been given by the prophet Samuel, the Lamanite, yea, for the time that there should be darkness for the space of three days over the face of the land. And there began to be great doubtings and disputations among the people, notwithstanding so many signs had been given.”

-Basically they became overly anxious in looking for the sign of his coming just like we in our day are becoming anxious to build Zion. Some may have begun to think it won’t happen. But as the lord lived and was persecuted, this too will happen but if we are not prepared individually and as a community it will go to some other group that the lord has prepared. It is our opportunity to lose. 

3 Nephi 8:9

“Blessed are ye if ye have no disputations among you.”

Look at the inverse of everything. If you have disputations then you are NOT blessed. 

How do we rid ourselves of disputations? We become one. 

4 Nephi 1:1

“there were no contentions and disputations among them, and every man did deal justly one with another. “

 4 nephi 4:2

“they did walk after the commandments which they had received from their Lord and their God, continuing in fasting and prayer, and in meeting together oft, both to pray and to hear the word of the Lord. And it came to pass that there was no contention among all the people in all the land, but there were mighty miracles wrought among the disciples of Jesus.”

-Walking after the commandments believing that you shall receive the promise and having a unity of faith and understanding is a pre-requisite for Zion. Any seductive philosophies of man or false doctrines threaten to tear apart that which God has ordained. We must use our agency to make sure we are right before God in our receiving of all his word, adherence to his word and walking in his word.

“And surely there could not be a happier people among all the people who had been created by the hand of God. “

“but they were in one the children of Christ and heirs to the kingdom of God. And how blessed were they, for the Lord did bless them in all their doings.”

Alma 19:10

“Wickedness never was happiness.”

We have been counseled to eliminate judgement and forbear our fellow believers. 

Romans 70

“But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you set at naught your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For I live, says the Lord, and every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall swear to God, as it is written. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

Let us not therefore judge one another anymore, but judge this rather: that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way. I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself; but to him that esteems anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. But if your brother is grieved with your food, you walk not charitably if you eat; therefore, destroy not him with your food for whom Christ died. Let not then your good be evil spoken of, for the kingdom of God is not food and drink, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the holy ghost. For he that in these things serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved of men. 

Let us therefore follow after the things which aid peace and things with which one may edify another.”

-How do we seek peace? We seek it in the witness of God as to the truth of all things. We seek it in the accompaniment of the spirit in our daily walk. We seek it in mutual resolution and by having a firm mind in all the commandments of God. 

-If we think we have sinned in the slightest we must repair and repent.

If we have been offended, we must work it out with the offending party. Most of all we need to show deference and patience for those who are learning and those who are in their own mind learned. We must learn how to talk to one another in truth and humility. 

As we start the Passover tomorrow evening and ponder on the importance of the Seder dinner and the Haggadah I’m inclined to think about the glass of wine left out for and the invitation given to the Prophet Elijah to come.

Joseph discussed the importance of Elijah, and said the following: “The Bible says, I will send you Elijah before the great and dreadful day of the Lord come that he shall turn the hearts of the fathers to the children & the hearts of the children to their fathers lest I come & smite the whole earth with a curse,‘ Now the word turn here should be translated (bind or seal) but what is the object of this important mission or how is it to be fulfilled, The keys are to be delivered, the spirit of Elijah is to come, The gospel to be established the Saints of God gathered, Zion built up, & and the Saints to come up as saviors on mount zion but how are they to become saviors on mount zion? by building temples erecting Baptismal fonts & going forth & receiving all the ordinances, baptisms, confirmations, washings, annointings, ordinations & sealing powers upon our heads in behalf of all our Progenitors who are dead & redeem them that they may Come forth in the first resurrection & be exalted to thrones of glory with us,”

D and c 110 (The account given of the key bestowal) was written in 1836 the foregoing on Jan 7, 1844

On March 10, 1844. Joseph says “The spirit power & calling of Elijah is that ye have power to hold the keys of the revelations, ordinances, oricles, powers & endowments of the fulness of the Melchezedek Priesthood & of the Kingdom of God on the Earth & to receive, obtain and perform all the ordinances belonging to the Kingdom of God even unto the sealing of the hearts of the fathers unto the children & the hearts of the children unto the fathers even those who are in heaven.” This points to the holy order. The literal adoption into the family of God.

This also fly’s in the face of the current doctrine of sealing us to our kindred dead. The current temple ceremony practiced by the LDS and ordinance has no saving power if sealing you to those who are dead and without salvation. You must first be saved and adopted into the family and religion of the fathers who are dispensation heads who collectively hold the Presidency as administered by Adam. Those who are saved are adopted into this family.

Those dead in prison need for us to be saved in order to reach back and save them. We must first have our hearts turned to those first fathers and holy men and theirs towards us in order to be saved and accepted into their order of priesthood. 

Joseph continues “I wish you to understand this subject for it is important & if you will receive it this is the spirit of Elijah that we redeam our dead & connect ourselves with our fathers which are in heaven” Remember, this is to those who have been saved or seen their salvation. Our dead unsaved fathers have way to save us because they aren’t in a position to do any of the work necessary. That opportunity has already passed with death. He continues “& seal up our dead to come forth in the first resurrection & here we want the power of Elijah to seal those who dwell on earth to those which dwell in heaven.” “Again, the doctrine or sealing power of Elijah is as follows: if you have power to seal on earth & in heaven then we should be Crafty, the first thing you do you go & seal on earth your sons and daughters unto yourself, & yourself unto your fathers in eternal glory” Fathers in eternal glory are not dead unsaved relatives. They are the Fathers of dispensations and those who have obtained the promises of the lord themselves. “ these men are in heaven but there [sic] children are on earth. There bowels yearn for us. God sends down men for this reason”. (Diary of Wilford Woodruff August 1839.)

For this purpose we see that all dispensations must necessarily conduct themselves according to previous dispensations. It is necessary for ordinances to be restored by Elijah in a proper place where they can be performed. (The original purpose of the Nauvoo Temple)

“Now, the purpose in himself, in the winding up scene of the last dispensation, is that all things pertaining to that dispensation should be conducted precisely in accordance with the preceding dispensations. And again, God purposed in himself that there should not be an Eternal fullness until every dispensation should be fulfilled and gathered together in one, and that all things whatever that should be gathered together in one, in those dispensations, unto the same fullness and Eternal glory, should be in Christ Jesus.

Therefore, he set the ordinances to be the same for ever and ever, and set Adam to watch over them, to reveal them from Heaven to man or to send angels to reveal them. “ (Investigation of the priesthood 1844, Joseph Smith)

We see that all previous dispensations have a culmination in the final dispensation.  When God delivers a dispensation of the gospel to the earth, the head of that dispensation is granted the right and privilege of organizing the dispensation. As the head organizes their dispensation according to righteous principles and receives God’s approval of the pattern, the dispensation is established and remains in effect until apostasy necessitates another restoration.

Adam was given the first dispensation, and he patterned it after the order of Heaven. Abraham was also given a dispensation, which he patterned after Adam’s dispensation. 

Moses was given a dispensation, but established a different pattern for the children of Israel according to the hardness of their hearts, which dispensation John the Baptist brought to a lawful close. 

Jesus Christ began a new dispensation which he patterned in a manner to reflect Abraham’s family, with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob mirrored in Peter, James [Jacob], and John; the twelve tribes led by twelve sons of Jacob reflected by the twelve disciples; the seventy children of Jacob who entered Egypt at the time of father Joseph reflected by the seventy. And thus, Christ used his right to honor the family of Abraham. Joseph Smith Jr. was given a dispensation, which he organized to honor the pattern Christ established. Such is the right and privilege granted to those who stand at the head of dispensations of the gospel. Adam, when given dominion over the whole earth by the word of God, received the Holy Priesthood after the Order of the Son of God.

D and C 107:40 states: “The Order of this Priesthood was confirmed to be handed down from father to son, and rightly belongs to the literal descendants of the chosen seed to whom the promises were made. This Order was instituted in the days of Adam, and came down by lineage in the following manner:”

Now this same Priesthood, which was in the beginning, shall be in the end of the world also — or in other words, at the end of the world, the final dispensation will restore again the pattern of the first, or Adam’s, dispensation.”

We need to be clear that this is a right and not a guarantee. For the right to be claimed one must lay hold upon it by heed and diligence in obtaining the blessings of the right by the will and hand of God.

“If there is no change of ordinances there is no change of priesthood. Wherever the ordinances of the gospel are administered there is the priesthood.” (Joseph Smith from Diary of Wilford Woodruff August 1839.)

This means if the ordinance is changed it is according to some other priesthood or some other association and not one according to the Presidency Adam holds or any of the fathers for that matter. It’s apostasy. 

With Adam we have birthright lineage being the firstborn, with Abraham we have adoption from among the wicked. 

Moses brought the law to a hardened and wicked people. An intermediary dispensation if you will. 

Jesus pointed back to Abraham.

Joseph points back to Jesus’ honoring Abraham and the next dispensation should point back to Adam with organization of a family organized in the proper way by the proper power.

Joseph was trying to teach the saints something different than what is currently practiced.

The sealing power was not passed according to what D&C says in section 110. For Joseph to reiterate that the coming of Elijah was a future event; if he said these things in 1843, 7 years after section 110, clearly something is suspect about the Warren Cowdery document inserted in 1879. (This document is a very late insertion with three blank pages afterwards written in the third person by someone who was never a scribe to Joseph.)

Joseph as dispensation head, had a version of or something related to this power when it was passed to the Patriarch of the church when the office and Priesthood were conferred upon Hyrum, but it was not the fulsome version that a required a visit by Elijah. The right to it was passed down through his (Hyrums) loins but heaven never ordained it after it was taken when both Joseph and Hyrum were martyred.

This right ended with a total apostasy of the church when Eldred Smith died in 2014 and the church eliminated the office of Patriarch to the church. The leadership thought themselves wiser than God. They missed the mark by miles and by changing the ordinances and now operate under some other Priesthood that is not connected to the Lord even though it is claimed it is.

That being said I feel that this power of which Joseph speaks with the coming of Elijah is something more. Something we can’t comprehend as of yet and are too close minded to understand. It is too commonly referred to as sealing power and binding etc. but to open a cosmic corridor and influence the heavens and the very makeup of the great deep and ethereal connections between the universe, creation and time…. (see Ether, Matthew and Revelations) there is something more in my belief. Elijah brings something much greater. Let’s invite him wholeheartedly, pour a glass of wine for him and prepare for the time when the Lord sees fit for that to happen. —

The following statement was made at the April 2023 LDS General Conference

“The key is to follow the living prophet.  Unlike vintage comic books or vintage cars, prophetic teachings do not become more valuable with age.  We should not seek to use the words of past prophets to dismiss the teachings of living prophets.”  – Elder Haynie, GC April 2023

This is in direct confrontation to what the Lord has revealed to past Prophets.

Joseph wrote in the times and seasons April 1, 1844 “If any man writes to you, or preaches to you doctrines contrary to the Bible, the Book of Mormon, or the book of Doctrine and covenants set him down as an imposter. You need not write to us to know what you are to do with such men; you have the authority with you- Try them by the principles contained in the acknowledged word of God; if they teach or preach practice contrary to that, disfellowship them: cuit them off from among you useless and dangerous branches, and if they are belonging to any of the quorum in the church report them to the president of the quorum…”

True prophets don’t contradict each other. Why? Because true prophets share the same eternal truths and message. This statement by Elder Haynie admits that current LDS leaders aren’t true prophets. Why? Because God is “the same today, yesterday and forever.” After all “And all scripture given by inspiration of God is profitable — for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits.” Matthew 7:15-16

“Behold, will ye believe in the day of your visitation—behold, when the Lord shall come, yea, even that great day when the earth shall be rolled together as a scroll, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, yea, in that great day when ye shall be brought to stand before the Lamb of God—then will ye say that there is no God? Then will ye longer deny the Christ, or can ye behold the Lamb of God? Do ye suppose that ye shall dwell with him under a consciousness of your guilt? Do ye suppose that ye could be happy to dwell with that holy Being, when your souls are racked with a consciousness of guilt that ye have ever abused his laws? Behold, I say unto you that ye would be more miserable to dwell with a holy and just God, under a consciousness of your filthiness before him, than ye would to dwell with the damned souls in hell. For behold, when ye shall be brought to see your nakedness before God, and also the glory of God, and the holiness of Jesus Christ, it will kindle a flame of unquenchable fire upon you. O then ye unbelieving, turn ye unto the Lord; cry mightily unto the Father in the name of Jesus, that perhaps ye may be found spotless, pure, fair, and white, having been cleansed by the blood of the Lamb, at that great and last day. And again I speak unto you who deny the revelations of God, and say that they are done away, that there are no revelations, nor prophecies, nor gifts, nor healing, nor speaking with tongues, and the interpretation of tongues. Behold I say unto you, he that denieth these things knoweth not the gospel of Christ; yea, he has not read the scriptures; if so, he does not understand them. For do we not read that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and in him there is no variableness neither shadow of changing? And now, if ye have imagined up unto yourselves a god who doth vary, and in whom there is shadow of changing, then have ye imagined up unto yourselves a god who is not a God of miracles.” Mormon (9:2-10) 

Joseph additionally exclaimed “profit by this important key that in all your trials troubles and temptations, afflictions, bonds, imprisonment and death. See top it that you do not betray heaven, that you do not betray Jesus Christ, that you do not betray your brethren, and that you do not betray the revelations of God whether in the bible, Book of Mormon, or Doctrine and Covenants or any other word of God. Yea in all your kicking and floundering see to it that you do not do this thing lest innocent blood be found in your skirts and you go down to hell. We may ever know by this sign that there is danger of out being led to a fall and aposticy [sic], when we give way to the devil so as to neglect the first known revelations but whatever you do, do not betray your friend.” This is a copy of the original that was used in “The Words of Joseph Smith” pp 8. The record found in the Joseph Smith papers is an overwritten version that barely resembles this one.

With these statements the church leaders and those who sustain them have pitted themselves against all previous prophets, the man they claim to be the founder of the church and Jesus Christ himself. They have drawn their line in the sand and are guilty collectively, of apostasy. The scriptures and all prophets before now unanimously agree that the trials we will endure are not trials of pitting one faith against another. Its about the teachings that one accepts and whether they are receiving light and knowledge. The spirit “has no other effect than pure intelligence.” (J.S. June 29 1839) The teachings must align with prior prophecy. If pure intelligence is what flows from the mind of God, and Jesus Christ himself was a Prophet, Priest and King then why would we ever let a current claimed mouthpiece override God himself as the Prophet of them all? As Mormon said, “They have denied the revelations of God and put them away.” and Paul saw our day when he said they would be “Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.” (2 Timothy 3:7-9)

Jesus when speaking to the Sanhedrin Said the following

“Woe unto you lawyers also, for you lead men with burdens grievous to be borne, and you yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers. Woe unto you, for you build the sepulchers of the prophets, and your fathers killed them. Truly you bear witness that you endorse the deeds of your fathers, for they indeed killed them, and you build their sepulchers.” “Woe unto you lawyers, for you have taken away the key of knowledge, the fullness of the scriptures. You enter not in yourselves into the kingdom, and those who were entering in, you hindered.” (JST Luke 11)

The sanhedrin were the accusers and judges of all things both spiritual and temporal in the land and they ruled by the Priesthood Office they possessed. This very same thing is evolving now among us as they are effectively killing the words of the Prophets, dismissing the fullness of the scriptures and endorsing and building upon previous bad deeds.

Moroni gives us this warning “O ye wicked, and perverse, and stiffnecked people, why have you built up churches unto yourselves to get gain? Why have ye transfigured the holy word of God that ye might bring damnation upon your souls? Behold, look ye unto the revelations of God, for behold, the time cometh at that day when all these things must be fulfilled. Behold, the Lord hath shewn unto me great and marvelous things concerning that which must shortly come at that day when these things shall come forth among you. Behold, I speak unto you as if ye were present, and yet ye are not. But behold, Jesus Christ hath shewn you unto me, and I know your doing, and I know that ye do walk in the pride of your hearts. And there are none, save a few only, who do not lift themselves up in the pride of their hearts, unto the wearing of very fine apparel, unto envying, and strifes, and malice, and persecutions, and all manner of iniquity. And your churches, yea, even every one, have become polluted because of the pride of your hearts. For behold, ye do love money, and your substance, and your fine apparel, and the adorning of your churches, more than ye love the poor and the needy, the sick and the afflicted. O ye pollutions, ye hypocrites, ye teachers who sell yourselves for that which will canker, why have ye polluted the holy church of God? Why are ye ashamed to take upon you the name of Christ? Why do ye not think that greater is the value of an endless happiness than that misery which never dies? Because of the praise of the world? Why do ye adorn yourselves with that which hath no life, and yet suffer the hungry, and the needy, and the naked, and the sick, and the afflicted to pass by you and notice them not? Yea, why do ye build up your secret abominations to get gain? And cause that widows should mourn before the Lord, and also orphans to mourn before the Lord, and also the blood of their fathers and their husbands to cry unto the Lord from the ground for vengeance upon your heads? Behold, the sword of vengeance hangeth over you, and the time soon cometh that he avengeth the blood of the saints upon you, for he will not suffer their cries any longer.” (Mormon 8:33-41)

This is the warning and the prophecy of what will befall those who have just done what they have done. Moroni saw them and gave them this warning. Not to other churches but to those who would be reading and basing their leadership on the Book of Mormon. Leaders in the Latter Day Saint faith.

They have built upon a weak foundation and prophesy without seeing.

“And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear the word of the Lord; thus says the Lord God: Woe unto the foolish prophets that follow their own spirit and have seen nothing. O Israel, your prophets are like the foxes in the deserts. You have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the Lord. They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The Lord says — and the Lord has not sent them; and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word. Have you not seen a vain vision, and have you not spoken a lying divination, whereas you say, The Lord says it — albeit I have not spoken?

Therefore, thus says the Lord God: Because you have spoken vanity and seen lies, therefore behold, I am against you, says the Lord God. And my hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity and that divine lies. They shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and you shall know that I am the Lord God. Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace — and there was no peace, and one built up a wall, and behold, others plastered it with untempered mortar, say unto them who plaster it with untempered mortar, that it shall fall. There shall be an overflowing shower, and you, O great hailstones, shall fall, and a stormy wind shall rend it. Behold, when the wall is fallen shall it not be said unto you, Where is the plaster with which you have plastered it?

Therefore, thus says the Lord God: I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury, and there shall be an overflowing shower in my anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it. So will I break down the wall that you have plastered with untempered mortar, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be uncovered. And it shall fall, and you shall be consumed in the midst thereof; and you shall know that I am the Lord. Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall and upon them that have plastered it with untempered mortar, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that plastered it — namely the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem and who see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, says the Lord God.” (Ezekiel 13:1-16)

What did Jesus have to say about the Prophets?

“And now behold, I say unto you that ye had ought to search these things. Yea, a commandment I give unto you that ye search these things diligently, for great are the words of Isaiah. For surely he spake as touching all things concerning my people which are of the house of Israel. Therefore, it must needs be that he must speak also to the gentiles. And all things that he spake hath been and shall be, even according to the words which he spake. Therefore, give heed to my words. Write the things which I have told you, and, according to the time and the will of the Father, they shall go forth unto the gentiles. And whosoever will hearken unto my words, and repenteth and is baptized, the same shall be saved. Search the prophets, for many there be that testify of these things.” (3 Nephi 23:1-5)

What did Isaiah Prophesy of?

Isaiah 9:14-16 “Therefore the Lord will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day. The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail. For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.”

These leaders are led by the senior most member of LDS leadership. The ancient (lower case A). He, (Nelson) is honored because of his station and not because of any works that merit the title of Prophet. He is also the tail because its a circular pattern that comes back to him being the final say in all of this. He has taught lies that the rest of the leaders teach and cause the people to err. Those that follow them are then destroyed. This is currently coming to completion as well.

Isaiah 28:7 “But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.”

This passage illustrates that these leaders are not of sober mind. This isnt actual strong drink and wine its the fact that they are spiritually drunk.

Isaiah 29:9-10 “Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink. For the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.”

Nephi expounds on this in his copy of the text which he had. “Yea, it shall be unto them even as unto a hungry man which dreameth, and behold, he eateth, but he awaketh and his soul is empty. Or like unto a thirsty man which dreameth, and behold, he drinketh, but he awaketh and behold, he is faint and his soul hath appetite. Yea, even so shall the multitude of all the nations be that fight against Mount Zion. For behold, all ye that do iniquity, stay yourselves and wonder, for ye shall cry out and cry. Yea, ye shall be drunken, but not with wine; ye shall stagger, but not with strong drink. For behold, the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, for behold, ye have closed your eyes, and ye have rejected the prophets, and your rulers and the seers hath he covered because of your iniquity” (2 Nephi 27:1-5)

It is worth noting that Mt Zion is a high place above the earth with a people that are unified in Christ not in an earthly organization. This earthly organization of puppets has no inspiration and they are not in contact with Heaven. In this final closing era which we just saw last weekend, they have rejected the Prophets. They have fulfilled this prophecy

Isaiah 56:10-11 “His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.”

This is evidenced in recent history. The Church auditing report also claimed that everything was done appropriately. We just saw the SEC had given a $5 million dollar fine to the church for lying and economic fraud. When they purposefully concealed the wealth from the public and church. Roger Clarke, head of Ensign Peak Advisors said “So they never wanted to be in a position where people felt like, you know, they shouldn’t make a contribution”.

In a previous post “churches unto what” I posted about what this means as far as economics go but there are some additional pointed prophecies here as well. They are of little understanding or as put in Timothy “ever learning but never coming to a knowledge of the Truth.” The newest leaders they propped up are all of academic, legal and worldly status. Yet they can’t distinguish truth from error. All of these leaders look to their own way quoting themselves in a never ending spiral of spiritual death.

I would end with this quote.

“The world always mistook false prophets for true ones, and those that were sent of God, they considered to be false prophets, and hence they killed, stoned, punished and imprisoned the true prophets, and these had to hide themselves ‘in deserts and dens, and caves of the earth’ (Hebrews 1:49), and though the most honorable men of the earth, they banished them from their society as vagabonds, whilst they cherished, honored and supported knaves, vagabonds, hypocrites, impostors, and the basest of men” (DHC, Vol. 4, p. 574; also TPJS, 206)

Who are you exalting and who are you following? Prophets are always called as one crying out in the wilderness. They along with all Prophets throughout all time teach the same message as those who went before them.

Our dispensation has a prescription for how the sacrament is supposed to be administered. It is a plain and simple ordinance that currently doesnt resemble what the Lord instructed us to do.

He has asked us to KEEP the commandments and KEEP the ordinances. When we stray we become apostate.

“It is expedient that the church meet together often to partake of bread and wine in the remembrance of the Lord Jesus;And the elder or priest shall administer it; and after this manner shall he administer it—he shall kneel with the church and call upon the Father in solemn prayer,..” (D&C 20:75-76)

We no longer practice the ordinance as given in previous dispensations.

“And the arm of the Lord shall be revealed; and the day cometh that they who will not hear the voice of the Lord, neither the voice of his servants, neither give heed to the words of the prophets and apostles, shall be cut off from among the people; For they have strayed from mine ordinances, and have broken mine everlasting covenant. They seek not the Lord to establish his righteousness, but every man walketh in his own way, and after the image of his own god, whose image is in the likeness of the world, and whose substance is that of an idol, which waxeth old and shall perish in Babylon, even Babylon the great, which shall fall. (D&CV 1:14-15)

Currently there has been an effort to subvert the will of the Lord and insert the vain things of the flesh and modify and adapt His command to suit the image of the day or the likeness of the world. The practice of wine with the sacrament and kneeling in humility as well as the symbol that every knee shall bend at His coming and the representation of the blood of Christ has been removed by those who would claim direction and authority under Him.

The Book of Mormon also describes the precise practice of the ordinance

“The manner of their elders and priests administering the flesh and blood of Christ unto the church; and they administered it according to the commandments of Christ; wherefore we know the manner to be true; and the elder or priest did minister it— And they did kneel down with the church, and pray to the Father in the name of Christ…” (Moroni 4:1-2)

“Now, the purpose in himself, in the winding up scene of the last dispensation, is that all things pertaining to that dispensation should be conducted precisely in accordance with the preceding dispensations. And again, God purposed in himself that there should not be an Eternal fullness until every dispensation should be fulfilled and gathered together in one, and that all things whatever that should be gathered together in one, in those dispensations, unto the same fullness and Eternal glory, should be in Christ Jesus.

Therefore, he set the ordinances to be the same for ever and ever, and set Adam to watch over them, to reveal them from Heaven to man or to send angels to reveal them. Hebrews 1st chapter, 14th verse [Hebrews 1:2]: Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister to those who shall be heirs of salvation? These angels are under the direction of Michael, or Adam, who acts under the direction of Christ.” (Investigation of the priesthood October 5, 1840)

If ordinances have been changed from the original or previous dispensation you can know of a surety that these changes have not come as instructions from Adam or Angels sent by him. They have given in to a false spirit and are dammed to the things of eternity. They have kept neither the commandments nor the ordinances. This is further evidence of the apostasy of the modern church.
